Her expertise in guiding schools towards more sustainable and effective approaches to mental health for everyone is extensive and proven. Anna often works at scale across multiple schools, designing and developing programs, implementation or assessment tools, and approaches that directly impact children and their families.
We believe that systems leadership is not about telling others what to do; it is about setting the direction so that the team knows what to concentrate on and then consistently moving towards that direction.
Effective systems leadership requires a deep understanding of both the internal dynamics of an organisation and the external forces that impact on it. Systems leaders are adept at scanning the environment for trends, disruptions, and opportunities, and they use this information to guide their organisations strategically.
They are also skilled at building and maintaining networks of relationships that provide valuable insights and support.
Latest projects include:
Developing a bespoke 3 year Family Services Framework for a multi-academy trust (MAT), based on internal MAT assets and external forces of deprivation. Responsible for ensuring this 3 strategy approach meets need and is implemented.
Previous recent project:
Responsible for overseeing the wellbeing strategies of 35+ schools, training and mental health strategy. Seven years of ongoing NHS funding due to impact.

I was really impressed with the detail of the training. I feel very equipped in the role of Senior Mental Health Lead.
Thorough training
The course has given me confidence, not only in terms of new ideas and guidance, but also in confirming that I was already on the right track in terms of promoting mental health at my school. Excellent and I would thoroughly recommend to all.
Top course
The course was delivered brilliantly, well paced with useful information. The main benefit though is the fact that it will really help to move our school forward.
Fantastic Development Opportunity
A fantastic course! Set up for distant learning at the time you want. The course completely prepared me for taking on this role with a wealth of resources and sign posting to areas for further development! Highly recommended.
Role of Senior Mental Health Lead
I thoroughly enjoyed completing the course. It was split into manageable modules that had a good balance of research based information and practical ideas that have supported me to fully understand the role of senior mental health lead. The course guided me through completing a mental health and well-being audit for my school so that I could write a realistic strategic action plan with the well-being committee.

During the sessions of coping with exams I have really found them useful, they didn't only help me with exam stress but also with stress overall. during these sessions I also felt comfortable to speak about my feelings with the group. This session also helped me become more confident and open within myself.” Year 11 student – exam stress 6 week course
‘The training was very informative. It has increased my awareness of mental heath issues in school particularly around staff wellbeing. It's useful to have an example of questions to ask the senior mental heath lead so I can understand what actions they've already taken to improve wellbeing’.

Brilliant! So informative and useful! Really made me think, such as how important it is to use the proper language, how younger children don't process emotions in the same way and how important it is to take your own feelings into account when discussing bereavement’
